"Is it so small a thing
To have enjoy'd the sun,
To have lived light in the spring,
To have loved, to have thought, to have done..."

Spring Cleaning
March bustles in on windy feet
And sweeps my doorstep and my street.
She washes and cleans with pounding rains,
Scrubbing the earth of winter stains.
She shakes the grime from carpet green
Till naught but fresh new blades are seen.
Then, house in order, all neat as a pin,
She ushers gentle springtime in.

Spring is nature's way of saying,
"Let's party!"

But I'm glad things are goin
Well I wanted to post again and ask for prayer
from all my friends. My husbands cousin, his name is Chris, and he is 13 years old. Last week he started getting sick, with a fever and soreness in his abdomen. He thought it was just because he had done alot of situps in the school that week, so he didnt think anything of it. Well yesterday his mom decided to take him to the Dr. because he still had a high fever. This had been going on for about a week. When he got there the Dr. said that it was an appendisitis, and that they could work him in that day. So yesterday he went into surgery at 4:30pm. When he got done the Dr. came out and said that his appendix had ruptured and he had a mass on his bladder. Now I am not a nurse yet but I have always heard that if your appendix ruptured you can barely handle the pain. He didnt really complain that much of the pain so he must have a really really high tolerance. But I have also heard that you can only live about 48 hours with a ruptured appendix. All I can say is that the Good Lord had his hand on Chris. So now he is still in the hospital because he got a really bad infection from the rupture. So he is being pumped full of antibiotics and fluids. The poor boy cant even drink anything. He can only have a wet wash cloth to his lips. So please say a prayer for him.
On a different note, I have one exam down and2 to go. I passed the one I had today and that puts me a getting a B in that class. YYYEEEAAAHHH!!!!!
I also feel real crafty. LOL I am not crafty at all. I decorated my entertainment center with all kinds of cute things. I feel so good about it.LOL
My prayers to Chris & to the rest of the family. The poor little guy! I have to wonder at what point his appendix ruptured. I would say the threat now is the infection, & I'm sure the Dr. are doing everything they can. I'm sure he's in capable hands, but I can imagine this must be awful stressful & worrisome for the family. But at his age he's probably pretty strong with a very good chance of fully recovering. Hang in there & please keep me updated. I'm praying for him
